From St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, to Ontario, from music to construction, and ultimately to Street Boy Glory Empire Inc., Jeromy Watson’s journey is built on one belief: ambition is everything.
A Beginning in Jamaica
Jeromy Watson’s story began in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, where he attended Giddy Hall All Age School. At a young age, he moved to Ontario, Canada, and continued his education in high school while learning to navigate a new environment and a new chapter of life.
Less Than Six Months in Ontario — And Already Looking for Work
Jeromy had not been living in Ontario for six months when he began looking for his first job. One morning, on his way to high school, he started handing out resumes.
He approached a manager, who told him he had never seen anyone going around handing out resumes before school. The manager then said: “If you’re serious, you can start after school.”
Jeromy went to school that morning and returned after classes to start working. It was an early lesson in initiative: take the first step, be serious about what you want, and be ready to follow through. He learned a lot from that day, and the lesson stayed with him.
Music — A Creative Foundation
Music became an important part of Jeromy’s creative development. He explored making music, producing and management. Those experiences helped him develop ideas, express himself and understand how creativity could become something meaningful to others.
Construction — Turning Ideas into Reality
Jeromy later owned and operated a construction business for more than a decade. That chapter brought experience in planning, responsibility, problem-solving and building something step by step. His working life also included cooking and security work. Each experience became another part of his education.
Building Street Boy Glory Empire
Street Boy Glory Empire Inc. grew from a creative vision and a desire to build something with meaning. The brand blends royal-luxury style with bold streetwear and represents individuality, confidence, ambition and self-expression.
Ambition Is Everything — No Matter Your Upbringing
Jeromy’s message is simple: your upbringing does not have to determine how far you go. You will face challenges, but you can fight to overcome them. You can create opportunities, learn from setbacks and prove to yourself that you can do what once seemed impossible.
He describes himself as a self-created entrepreneur who never stops looking for ways to create, inspire others and help others. From the young student handing out resumes before school to the entrepreneur building a brand, the thread connecting every chapter is the willingness to try.
Take initiative. Keep learning. Keep creating. Never stop trying.
